Jennifer Evans
Jennifer is a dynamic marketing leader with three decades of experience building brands that connect across the agriculture, tech, and wine industries. After earning her BBA in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame, she began her career at Capener, Matthews & Walcher, San Diego’s top agency at the time, with a focus on Qualcomm and the tech world.
In the late ’90s, Jennifer moved to the Monterey Peninsula, combining her passion for marketing and design, earning a Certificate in Graphic Design from MPC. Merging her tech experience with the “Salad Bowl of the World,” she launched her own agency in 2005, developing strategies for B2B companies such as Macro Plastics and Sambrailo Packaging.
In 2017, she joined Scheid Family Wines to pursue a long-held passion for wine. That same year, she earned her WSET Level 1 and immersed herself in wine marketing. In 2020, she played a key role in launching Sunny with a Chance of Flowers, a trailblazing “Better for You” wine brand that brings the power of positivity to life and appeals to consumers seeking moderation and a balanced lifestyle.
Now serving as Marketing Director of Global Brands, Jennifer leads brand strategy and omnichannel planning for Sunny and a growing portfolio of national brands, turning insights and data into compelling, purposeful campaigns.
A Chicago native and loyal Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks fan (no matter what their standings), Jennifer now calls California’s Central Coast home. She enjoys hiking, photography, and life with her husband, their hound dog and two cats (lovingly left behind by their college-age kids).
