Heather McCarthy

Heather McCarthy brings a dynamic blend of passion and expertise to the wine industry as the Director of Marketing at Rombauer Vineyards. With an academic foundation in Public Relations and Wine and Viticulture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, international wine studies in Australia, and an MBA in Wine Business from Sonoma State, Heather has consistently leveraged her knowledge and experience to foster connections within the wine community. In awe of wine’s ability to bring people together, her customer-centric approach to marketing is deeply rooted in storytelling, engagement, and creating memorable experiences. She leads all facets of the marketing strategy, securing Rombauer’s position as the #1 wine brand in the super luxury wine category including its iconic Carneros Chardonnay, category leading Zinfandel, and fast-growing Sauvignon Blanc. Outside of her professional life, Heather enjoys family time, a good game of pickleball, and, of course, conversations with friends over great bottles of wine.
